Are you interested in becoming an attorney, a judge, working for a state office, or just get gain knowledge of the Czech Republic legal system? Accomplishing the Commercial Law faculty at our school will be an excellent starting point to reaching these goals.
To be a good lawyer means above all to know the Czech law system very well. Therefore, as early as in the first and second year the students have four hours of Law per week. Later on, in the third and fourth years they have as many as eight hours of Law per week. Step by step they become familiar with the civil law, employment law, state laws, international and family laws, as well as a so called 'personal approach'. As a part of the curriculum students take frequent field trips to observe live court cases. Commercial Law faculty students have an opportunity to study as many as three foreign languages (in fact they have a choice of four out of the total of five available – English, German, Russian, French, Chinese).
The students' transition from the school reality to the company reality is facilitated with their regular, weelky trips to a company or a state agency of their choice. This way they can apply their knowledge in practice.
The faculty's uniqueness
The commercial law faculty at SSOS, s.r.o. Kunovice is an integral part of our school's educating process, the process that excels as a means of an exceptional, hands-on background in the commercial law field. The range of the commercial law curriculum at the foreign trade faculty is both unique and beyond compare to other high schools in CR. In the course of the study the students are study the law system as well as learn how to apply the regulations. They are also motivated to take advantage of all the available resources of the European law by utilizing the latest computer technology and exploiting their linguistic potential.
Both the theoretical and practical education enable our students to find a job practically on the spot.
