Are you looking for a future employment in the foreign trade field, become a diplomat or simply work abroad? Studing Foreign Trade at our school will offer you everything you need to reach that goal. A recent research shows that two of the world languages are to become a standard knowledge in contemporary world . Naturally, we did not want to remain a mere standard, and we decided to offer more than that to our students. Here you have a chance to learn four languages (out of six that are taught – English, German, Russian, Spanish, French, Chinese). There are only a few language schools out there with such a comprehensive offer. Languages are the first step to doing a business and working abroad. Of course, just as important is an expertise in the professional field. Our students are getting education in the following subjects and study fields, just to name a few: Economics, Accounting, Law, Foreign Business Operation, Business Correspondence (also in a different language), communication skills. The combination of the above and more will ensure the students not to get lost either in the world or in the world of business. The students' transition from the school environment to a company is facilitated by their weekly field trips to a company of their choice. This refers to students of the third and fourth levels, who are this way encouraged to put their knowledge into practise. The sudents who have graduated from our school are considered by companies to be among those best equipped.
What makes this field of study unique
The Foreign Trade faculty at SSOS Kunovice is an integral part of our school's educating process, the process that excels as a means of an exceptional, hands-on background in foreign trade and business. The range of the foreign trade curriculum at the Foreign Trade faculty is both unique and beyond compare to other high schools in CR. Within the foreign trade operations curriculum a student becomes familiar with the principles of foreign trade operations in such spheres as production, services, research or development. He or she also gets to know the methods of export and import as well as the practical side of running a business. What we also expect our students to do in the course of study is to define the fundamental ideas of the international trade, such as subject and approach. Last but not least, the student gets to understand the reality of the foreign trade politics of our state. Our goal is to teach our students the necessary skills to perform the export-import operations. Students get to know the principal factors of foreign trade operations in the sphere of production, handling international manufacturing cooperations, establishing an enterprise with a foreign capital, they also study the basics of business ethics of a foreign trade.
